NYC Mayor de Blasio Drops Out and Nobody Cares

Farewell to the vanilla woke yawn of a man who would be intimidated by Corn Pop at a public pool.

New York City Major Bill de Blasio, the least likeable person running for president, in any party, is no longer running for president. Noticeably, nobody cares.

de Blasio is a poor manager, a milquetoast progressive, an awful virtue signaler, and generally a man of low public esteem. His own constituents warned him not to run.

In Iowa, he was mocked for drawing 15 attendees to a campaign event. It’s a high bar for terrible for the mayor of the most vibrant and wealthy city on earth to not even attract two dozen curious onlookers.

I think even former mayor, the aging Rudy Guiliani can attract more attention by making bizarre self-contradictory statements, and would probably have more support to run again than the vanilla woke yawn of a man who would be intimidated by Corn Pop at a public pool.

It’s good that de Blasio has faded back into the “go away green” miasma of his awful stewardship of New York. At least when he wasn’t in Gracie Mansion he wasn’t meddling in what could be a well-run city. I pity poor New Yorkers now that he’s back to putting his full-time energies into screwing up their city.
