If you’re pro-life, best not apply to be a judge

Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand believes that pro-lifers shouldn’t fill judicial benches.

The Left is out to destroy any person who does not agree with the way they think. This has become even more evident as pro-life bills in Alabama and Georgia have been signed into law.

Based on the passages of these laws, it would be fair to state that perhaps there is a goodly majority of individuals that support restrictions on abortion.

The Left believes that abortion is a “human right” and “reproduction health”. Anything or anyone that challenges those phrases will now run into the buzzsaw of the Left’s destruction machine. And make no mistake, they won’t be satisfied until the person they target is destroyed.

In a push to get to the left of every other candidate. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) has declared that anyone espousing pro-life views cannot become judges. As she stated in an interview (h/t Washington Free Beacon):

These are personal decisions. They are health care decisions. They are economic decisions. They are moral decisions. A woman has a right to make all those decisions,” Gillibrand said in an interview on New Hampshire Public Radio. “And if you are telling me today, that women in America don’t have that right. I think you are so backward-looking that those judges and justices are not the type of people we should be appointing because it is too backward-looking.

These comments are fresh off the heels of her statements that compared pro-life views to racism.

Those on the Left are panicking as more conservative judges fill vacancies on federal courts. This threatens the “human right” that women have to abortion, a supposed right that is found nowhere in the Constitution.

Another thing that the senator seems to have forgotten is the fact that there is no religious or ideological litmus tests in the Constitution. Now, whether the senator has ever read the Constitution is probably up for debate as many of her policy ideas fall far outside the framework of our government. But to unilaterally decide that anyone with pro-life views is unfit to serve as a judge is ridiculous.

Of course, she is probably not the only Democrat that holds this view but she is certainly making her thoughts on the subject quite clear. It would not surprise me if in the coming months more Democratic candidates take the same position. This is the way of the Left: destroy all those who are guilty of wrong think.

Just in case you were wondering, Gillibrand believes Roe v. Wade is judicial precedent and should not ever be overturned. But she is sure working hard to make sure Citizens United is overturned. I guess when one Supreme Court decision works for you and one doesn’t, better get rid of the one that doesn’t.
