Political Conferences Are The Worst

I hate political conferences with a passion. Seasoned politicians get on stage and espouse highly rehearsed, consultant vetted speeches aimed at connecting with the lowest common denominator in the room. These personality-driven, buzz word filled, idea void exercises amount to nothing more than an evening of your favorite cable news outlet. We were looking for something bigger. Something with purpose and meaning that could produce ideas that outlasted the days trendiest political figure. When we decided to do the first ever Resurgent Gathering, Erick’s vision was very clear. No stump speeches. Candidates were forbidden from going on stage and giving the standard ‘Democrats Suck’, ‘Vote Republican’ speeches that they could give in their sleep. We were looking for conservative ideas to answer the days biggest challenges. Immigration. National debt. Abortion. We were looking to inform, educate and empower activist who wanted to have influence in the political process.

The first ever Resurgent Gathering last year in Austin, Texas resulted in powerful discussions of substance. 

We are hosting the second annual Resurgent Gathering this year at the Grand Hyatt August 1-4 in Atlanta, Georgia aimed at building off of the success of last year. Joining us will be David Perdue, Brian Kemp, Tom Cotton, Tim Scott, Jody Hice, Chip Roy, a major surprise guest and many more. Tickets are $99 but will go up after the surprise guest is announced. We will be and hope you can join us.
