Media Matters Decides The Heritage Foundation is an Unacceptable Presence on Television

The Heritage Foundation is one of the most respected right-of-center think tanks in America, but Media Matters has decided this must end.

Filling the role of the Southern Poverty Grift Center, Media Matters is attacking Shannon Bream and Fox News for daring to have on the Heritage Foundation President Kay Coles James. Why?

Because Media Matters is declaring the Heritage Foundation to be anti-LGBTQ. Part of this comes back to Heritage employing Ryan Anderson, a distinguished and highly respected scholar who has studied the family, transgenderism, and the left’s attempts to silence anyone who disagrees with their agenda.

Heritage Foundation President Kay Coles James downplayed the organization’s long anti-LGBTQ history in an appearance with Fox “straight news” anchor Shannon Bream. Bream is a go-to source and safe space for anti-LGBTQ figures to advertise their groups’ work and whitewash their extremism.

What’s happening here is leftwing groups are trying to pressure advertisers to boycott Fox News. Right now, those advertisers are avoiding Fox’s opinion shows, but are still willing to advertise on, as Media Matters calls it, “straight news.” Media Matters and others are ginning up anti-Fox hate and anti-Heritage hate to hurt their advertising and sponsorships for supposed bigotry. The left is absolutely convinced there can be no dissenting voices on these issues. They are trying to make advertisers care.

This harassment is only going to increase.
