Stacey Abrams Doesn’t Think White People Had This Problem

I realize she has a deliberate strategy to incite racial animosity and keep black voters convinced they are being targeted by white Republicans, but this is ridiculous.

White people also faced lines that ran for hours. And they did so in the same counties and same precincts where black voters experienced these problems. One might think from Abrams’ comments that black people vote in different locations from white people. That is simply not true.

On top of that, the long lines happened in counties controlled by Democrats, who were responsible for the voting machines in those counties. Abrams is blaming Republicans, but the problem was local Democrats.

But this is part of Abrams’ strategy. She created a problem by her campaign filing thousands of voter registration forms with wrong information then complained when then Secretary of State Brian Kemp rejected them. In Democrat counties, Democrat officials failed to replace voting machines that then caused long lines.

Abrams now exploits that and suggests it was racially targeted discrimination and hopes we all ignore that white voters experienced the same problem.

Abrams is fanning the flames of racial animosity to try to get elected. It is as wrong and as dangerous as Donald Trump stoking the flames of white nationalism.
