COO of McAlister’s, Moe’s, Cinnabon, and Auntie Anne’s Opposes Pro-Life Legislation

Kat Cole, the COO of Focus Brands, which owns Moe’s, Cinnabon, Auntie Anne’s, McAlisters, etc. has come out against the fetal heartbeat legislation in Georgia. She thinks the pro-life measure would take Georgia backwards and she is joining progressive activists in calling for business opposition to the law.

I don’t believe in organizing boycotts, but do want to make sure you are aware of this.

The legislation in question would allow pregnant moms to have deadbeat dads help cover the costs of pregnancy and would allow parents to take child tax breaks while pregnant, not having to wait until delivery. The bill would also begin restricting abortions once the child has her own heartbeat.
