Why We Need the Electoral College

It’s not hard to understand—unless, apparently, if you’re a Democrat running for President.

Along with wanting to give 16-year-olds the right to vote, another ill-considered idea that Democrats have been floating as we drift into the 2020 election season is the abolition of the Electoral College.

In fact, here’s Elizabeth Warren on that very subject at a CNN town hall:

I’d really be interested in hearing how Warren—at a time of already intense political division—intends to keep the Union together after telling around ninety percent of the country that their vote for president doesn’t count anymore.
