Mick Mulvaney Won’t Rule Out Another Government Shutdown This Week

The deadline for a border deal is fast approaching and White House Chief of Staff was on Meet the Press this morning. He said he cannot rule out another government shutdown. Speaking with Chuck Todd, Mulvaney stated

You cannot take the shutdown off the table and you cannot take $5.7 billion [for a border wall] off the table. But if you end up some place in the middle, what you’ll probably see is the president say, “Ok, and then I’ll go find the money some place else.”
