Something is Rotten in Richmond

Just when you thought things couldn’t get crazier here in the Commonwealth of Virginia after our governor’s infanticide comments plus blackface and sexual assault allegations against the lieutenant governor, another bombshell relating to Attorney General Mark Herring (D-VA) has just dropped.

Apparently, Herring once donned blackface to a party too—just like Governor Northam. Here’s his statement:

If all three of these guys bow out, House of Delegates Speaker Kirk Cox, a Republican, will assume the role per Article V, Section 16 of the Virginia Constitution. Perhaps this is sweet revenge for Cox as Democrats tried to redistrict him out of his district?

Can we get a do-over here in Virginia? Republican Party of Virginia, here’s your sign to win statewide this November. Next year, Senator Mark Warner (D-VA) should get another serious challenger and be defeated. And come 2021, if Cox doesn’t assume the Governor role, Virginia Republicans should easily reclaim the Governor’s Mansion.

Don’t screw this up.
