Joni Ernst Stands Tall

This is a profoundly confessional interview by Iowa’s Junior Senator and she should be praised for it. Some on the left are using it to attack her for her Kavanaugh vote. They should reconsider. It is unfortunate that people think because of certain life experiences a person can only see the world around them in one way. Joni Ernst is proving she is her own person.

This is a woman who has clearly been through the ringer in life and came out on top. She entered into a relationship with a man who turned abusive and unsupportive as a husband. And now, as she finalizes her divorce, she is baring her soul and sharing details of her life others did not know.

It is brave of her to do and she should be applauded.
