UPDATED: Border crossing closed; human wave overwhelms Mexican authorities

Mexico says it will deport those attempting illegal crossing earlier Sunday

UPDATE:

Mexico’s Interior Ministry released a statement later Sunday stating that “fully identified Central Americans who tried to enter the United States illegally” will be deported in response to their actions earlier in the day.

The US-Mexico border crossing at San Ysidro has been temporarily closed as US authorities attempt to hold off a massive human wave attempting to circumvent US immigration law to enter the country.

More updates to come here at The Resurgent as details emerge.
