This Kid Rock Poll Probably Isn’t Fake. And He’s Leading.

The Trafalgar Group has published poll results showing Kid Rock leading incumbent Dem. Sen. Debbie Stabenow 48.6 percent to 46.09 percent, with only 5.31 percent undecided.

A few things that make this poll more believable than the last (fake) poll.

First, The Trafalgar Group has been around a while. They aren’t a website registered 2 weeks ago. They have real social media presence. Second, they did polling for the Georgia 6th District race and correctly had Karen Handel beating (who?) Jon Ossoff.

Third, I called them (you can too: 770-542-8170, that’s from Facebook, don’t worry, I didn’t dox them). Someone answered. I asked if they were working for anyone when they conducted the poll, and was told they weren’t. I asked if they had complete data, and they suggested I message them on social media, which I did. They indicated they’d be sending a “media blast” soon. I’m still waiting.

So I’m a little skeptical. But it’s probably not fake.

With Kid Rock’s name recognition, it’s not surprising he is doing so well, so far out from the election. Once he’s actually running, we’ll see how the trend continues. If Trump endorses him, that could be a help”“or not.

We’ll see.
