Robert McDonald Is a Tone Deaf Jackass. Disneyland Sees Twice as Many People Each Year.

But what's worse is that the Veterans Health Administration serves 7.8 million veterans a year and keeps many waiting months. Disneyland, not the whole of Disney, sees 16 million people a year. Those people are processed on the days they get to Disneyland and get through what they want to see. Some pay extra to get special sherpas through the complex. But the people don't wait around for months on end.

The Secretary of the Department of Veterans Affairs decided to compare the VA to Disneyland. In so doing, he said his agency “shouldn’t use wait times as a measure of success because Disney doesn’t either.”

Really?

The VA runs hospitals where time is of the essence for many patients. Keep a patient waiting for three months and it can be the difference between curing cancer and finding it is terminal.

Robert McDonald’s comment shows he is a tone deaf jackass and he really should consider resigning for something like that. The fact that the head of the VA thinks comparing itself to Disneyland and rejecting wait times as an issue proves he is unfit to lead.
