Trump’s Big Move: Hiring a Left Winger With Ties to George Soros

If the Democrats wanted to stage a coup of the Republican Party, they could not do better than Donald Trump and his new hires. Trump, after railing on Ted Cruz for ties to Goldman Sachs, is hiring a Goldman Sachs guy to serve as his finance chairman. But it gets better.

The guy is a big liberal Democrat who has direct ties to George Soros and Soros’s anti-Republican group America Coming Together. The guy, named Steve Mnuchin, is also a huge Democrat Party donor.

Although Mnuchin has given to Republicans, his financial ties to the Democratic Party and liberal causes appear to be significantly deeper. Overall, Mnuchin has given more than $125,000 since 1998 to candidates and committees that disclose their donors — more than half of which went to Democrats, according to FEC records.

He contributed to Democrats Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, John Edwards, and Chris Dodd in the 2008 presidential election cycle. He also gave to Obama and Clinton’s Senate campaigns, and supported Democratic Sen. Chuck Schumer and the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee.

Trump’s win looks more and more like a coup. And now the RNC is ordering purges of anyone who cannot support Trump.
