You Will Be Made to Care

North Carolina passed a law that allowed state magistrates to opt-out of performing gay “marriages” if the magistrate believes to do so would violate his religious beliefs. It seems to be a good accommodation. Only five percent of the state’s magistrates have used the accommodation. But that’s not good enough.

A gay rights group has filed a lawsuit that would seek to compel those Christian magistrates to perform gay “marriages.” The magistrates will not be allowed their freedom of conscience. They must be forced to adhere to the standards of Mordor.

They, and you, will be made to care.
