Rubio Rebounding

Whatever he lost in New Hampshire, Marco Rubio appears to have recovered it in South Carolina. His crowds are growing, multiple new polls have him surging and, in some cases, tied with Cruz, and on a trajectory to be able to target Trump.

Just yesterday, he spoke extemporaneously for ten minutes on race, culture, and outreach. He has the Bush team worried. The Cruz team is throwing everything they can at him. But he keeps going up.

It appears New Hampshire was an anomaly and Rubio might have a strong showing in South Carolina — strong enough to rebound out to Nevada and the SEC Primary.

The danger ahead is still taking out Trump with a crowded field. If Bush drops out, that will help Rubio as almost all of Bush’s support would go to Rubio.

Once past South Carolina, things come fast and all over the map. With good energy and momentum, Rubio will be able to compete — more so if Bush stands down.
