One Tweet Storm is all it Took to Destroy Feminist Jill Filipovic’s Anti-Human Ignorance

Anti-human planet-saver and feminazi Jill Filipovic tweeted on Tuesday “Having children is one of the worst things you can do for the planet. Have one less and conserve resources.”

Not only is this tweet tantamount to “starve your children to death, it’s better for the planet,” or “let yourself be a bear’s lunch, it’s better for the bear,” it’s also dead wrong because Filipovic is what Dan Aykroyd used to call Jane Curtain on SNL.

Filipovic’s education is a liberal’s dream: seven years of NYU indoctrination, studying journalism, politics, and finally, law. She’s about as qualified to speak on population science as I am to endorse Pamprin.

Lyman Stone, on other hand is an agricultural economist at the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service with an MA in international trade policy. He writes about human migration. He’s a contributor at The Federalist, and publishes a podcast called “Migration Nation.” Stone is fairly immersed in global population issues.

Filipovic got the information for her tweet from a Guardian piece titled “Want to fight climate change? Have fewer children.”

Stone, with one tweet storm, destroyed the paper, and Filipovic’s assertion, as “completely insane.”

He used phrases like “BONKERS ON ACID” to describe their flawed methodology, faulty assumptions, and ridiculous conclusions.

After reading Stone’s tweets, it’s forgivable to think that The Guardian started with the point they wanted to make and worked backwards to come up with some science-y words to make it look right.

One main point I got out of Stone’s argument–though he didn’t explicitly say it–is that human procreation is a quantum business. Two individuals produce one child. “Having less children” when the average fertility is below population replacement (meaning a decline in population), in a long-term trend leads to one bad place.

Europe is already there, Japan is there in spades, and America is flirting with it. So we can make ourselves endangered and limit the gene pool, then use forced sterilization to guarantee the death of the human race (but the planet survives?), or we can stop being silly and realize that Malthusian theory has been debunked for a century.

Here’s Stone’s tweet storm, in full, for your pleasure in reading.
