No It’s Not Cool To Be 70 Going On 14

It’s really rich to hear Democrats rail on about Trump’s indefensible womanizing talk (and actions). But they have a point. If the Republican Party is aligned with Godliness, what have we done nominating this clown as the paragon of family values and virtue? They could just say “you guys are stupid” and be right.

Melania Trump stays away from the campaign trail, where her husband Donald’s decades of sex obsession is finally catching up with him.

“Sometimes I said I have two boys at home — I have my young son and I have my husband,” [Melania] Trump said. “I know how some men talk. That’s how I saw it.”

There are boys who never grow up and there’s dirty old men.

Instead of laughter, Democrats come at us with mock horror, as if they would never be like that. Of course, Bill Clinton left physical proof of his lies and infidelity. We can go back further to Lyndon Johnson, who was well-known as a womanizer and braggart, very much akin to Trump.

At his Senate office, his female workers were fondled, ogled and overworked. Though his own figure was flabby, he was quick to berate any of his “girls” who put on weight. He wanted to make sure the view was good when they walked away from his desk. “I don’t want to look at an Aunt Minnie. I want to look at a good, trim back end.”

Trump has no problem with being a Mad Men archetype from the 60’s. Maybe that kind of “locker room talk” was just fine at the country club for 23-year-old Donald (or 14-year-old Donald at military school, where he played baseball). But it’s creepy in a 70-year-old man.

Johnson was 10 years Trump’s junior when he left the presidency. Johnson also had the good sense to keep his womanizing inside the beltway, not out in the tabloids.

Having a teenage septuagenarian as the GOP nominee is just one more reason we’ve been made into chumps and laughingstocks.  It’s not cool at all. In fact, it makes us all losers.
