A shooting at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH caused the hospital to go on lockdown and resulted in the arrest of a suspect.
It’s not clear yet whether there are any injuries or fatalities, but authorities locked down the facility and urged area residents to seek safe shelter. Schools went on lockdown as well. One employee told reporters that someone has issued a “Code Silver” warning that indicated an active shooter, while another employee told a local television station that staff had received notifications on their computers that a shooting had taken place on the fourth floor in the intensive care area of the hospital.

Authorities were on the lookout for a man in a red camo shirt with salt-and-pepper blonde hair. Shortly before 3:00 p.m., police arrested an unidentified suspect.
