The Washington Post is reporting that Ben Carson’s campaign is beginning to collapse. Sure, they are not using that word, but that is the reality.
The Carson campaign’s money is drying up has he has gone down in the polls. He is now having to make major cutbacks including giving up private jets and lots of staff.
Ben Carson, the famed neurosurgeon whose bid for the Republican presidential nomination has struggled to keep pace with rivals, will cut more than 50 staff positions on Thursday as part of an overhaul and downsizing of his entire campaign.
Salaries are being significantly reduced. Carson’s traveling entourage will shrink to only a handful of advisers. And instead of flying on private jets, Carson may soon return to flying on commercial flights.
No, Ted Cruz had nothing to do with this. The Carson campaign’s fundraising was declining before Iowa, but that decline is only going to escalate as Carson’s polling continues to crater.
