Could Donald Trump Save a Bifurcated Faith and Country?

I get this a lot: “We’re not electing a pastor-in-chief.” I also have to live with Ted Cruz’s flip-flop on Trump, after holding him up as an example of a principled Christian. I still believe Cruz is a principled Christian, but politics bifurcates faith, as it also bifurcates the country.

To me, the primary reason we’ve got two candidates as morally flawed (the most charitable word I can use) as Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, is that people have cut off their faith in God from application in our country.

Trump, however, might be the only hope to turn bifurcated Christians to the truth. It will truly take a miracle.
